The Bay of Islands Aero Club is situated on the Bay of Islands Airport in Wiroa Road, Kerikeri and has an excellent Clubrooms/Hangar Complex.
The Club owns a microlight aircraft (Tecnam Golf, ZK-NOL) and has access to a Light Sport Aircraft (Tecnam P2008, ZK-MBN) for GA or Microlight training. Qualified Microlight and General Aviation Instructors are ready and willing to get you started on your aviation adventure.
Far North Holdings is planning major expansion works in the terminal building incorporating a conference centre in the club facilities. This will include an upgraded private lounge for general use of club members, but especially for when the conference centre is in use. We have a small but comprehensive aviation library which will be located in the new lounge as well as television and refreshment making facilities.
A flight simulator facility is available to all members at no charge.
The Clubrooms are used for both Club and Private functions.
