Visiting Aircraft

The normal traffic at Kerikeri/Bay of Islands Airport is an interesting mix of Air New Zealand Link, Salt Air, Swannair, BOIAC,  parachutists, top-dressers and local private aircraft. Every now and then a stranger drops in and creates much interest. Our President, Steve Watson, has recorded many of these unscheduled arrivals with his camera and all the photos below are from his collection.

In 2012, the RNZAF celebrated its 75th   anniversary. That year the "Wise  Owl"  camp (the final exercise for the Wings Course Students)was held at Kerikeri and on their open day the Red Checkers put on  a display.
